Yes, just to confirm, the Freckled (2) are still there - as of 4:00pm Monday. Also - a single Latham's Snipe! Is this the first for the years? So early!! Any other records? Also - a couple of Australasian Bittern! Mike Carter showed me about the Wetland (*thanks Mike) - my first visit: and we noted two other interesting birds for this area: Ducky Woodswallow and Crimson Rosella. Nice place. All the best, Tim Dolby Tim Dolby Swinburne University of Technology Phone: (03) 9214 6722 Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
