Hi Frank, At Easter1999 I saw two pairs of Australian Shovellers on one of the lagoons on Roebuck Plains with a group from the BBO. There is no conceivable doubt that they were shovellers, I watched them for at least half an hour, and they didn't have long tails. They should be on the BBO list for that day. George Swan last year said he had never seen them in the Kimberley.
