Only one person saw the Northern Shoveler after Bob found it yesterday morning: it obviously left the spot where it was found late morning, and didn't return during the afternoon. I'd guess it's still nearby, but nobody knows where at this stage. If anyone goes to look today or over the weekend, please continue to take care to minimise disturbance for all the usual reasons, plus the fact that the waterfowl count is continuing. Cheers, Richard.
