BIRDS AUSTRALIA RESEARCH AND CONSERVATION MANAGER
Based in Melbourne
Birds Australia is a Non Government Organisation (NGO) which relies on
dedicated staff and a large band of volunteers throughout Australia to
further the scientific understanding, conservation and enjoyment of
Australia's birds and their habitats.
The Research and Conservation manager will be responsible for overseeing
the research and conservation program.
Experience in developing research and conservation priorities, planning
research and research management is required. Ability to motivate staff
and volunteers is a key aspect of the position. Scientific qualifications
in zoology, ornithology or environmental science essential.
The position reports to the CEO.
An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful
applicant.
