loudness of ssp calls

Yesterday I posted to the group with the opinion (first given to me by someone on this group, then reinforced by various observations)that the calls of the migratory ssp of the Striated Pardalote (striatus, the nominate race, breeds Tasmania, disperses over mainland se Australia in the winter)are louder than that of the resident race.

Not five minutes after hitting the send button we had our first non-Tasmanian Silvereyes of the winter in our yard, and I gained the impression that their calls were softer than the migratory Tasmanian race's. Can anyone confirm this?
