G'day Ralph,
Edition 1 (1931) thru to at least Edition 4 (1966) DID
include scientific name derivations.
These were ALL fabric covered hardbacks.
The following, (which are all paperbacks) DID
NOT
The Abridged edition (1973), prepared by Peter
Roberts
at least one of the reprints (1977) was called a Field
Edition
The revised Field Edition (1991)
The Deluxe large format hard back (1984) also DID
NOT
So get one of the earlier editions....or
