Some time back someone mentioned that the derivation of scientific names is mentioned in one (at least) of the editions of Cayley's 'What Bird is That?' I know that this book has gone through at least eight editions. Can someone please advise in which edition(s) this type of information is contained? Thanks in anticipation Ralph Reid Sydney Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
