G'day all The Starlings around Hamilton are excellent mimics. We have one near our house that includes bleating lambs in its repertoire and one at work today gave a ripper rendition of Banded Lapwings. Interesting that, because I haven't seen or heard real Banded Lapwings around here for two years. Horrible birds but not totally without merit.
