I am sure you will be pleased that this will be the last message on this topic from me. I went back to the Western Treatment Plant yet again. It was cold, windy, the water was choppy and grey, terrible conditions but there was one thing in my favour, I met Chris Lester and he was able to show me the duck. It was where you were all telling me, near the platforms on the low trees, I must have seen it a dozen times without knowing. Maybe I should give up birding, but I think not, North Queensland next week, too good to miss.
