David Seim's query re Christmas Island as a rocket launching site had
crossed my mind as well.
Can anyone who knows the island comment on the possibility of a
launching-site being compatible with survival of the Islands birds? Is there
room for both?
Will Christmas Island become X-mas in avian terms?
What Government Authority controls these things?
