I had decided to revisit an area of White Box woodland near Boorowa (South West Slopes, N.S.W.) on Saturday, where I had observed a flock of Swift Parrots some weeks ago. The highlight this week was, however, seeing a pair of Superb Parrots in lightly timbered grazing land just off Taylors Flat Road, some half a kilometre from my goal the travelling stock reserve near Gunnary. Also seen near Taylors Flat in Lachlan Valley were Hooded Robin (3) and Southern Whiteface (2). Adrian, I will send you a detailed description of location of Superbs.
