Brief report on walk in Back Yamma State Forest, Forbes NSW.

66 species sighted, highlights were:

2    Swift Parrots feeding in flowering Euc albens.
8    Turquoise Parrots
1    White-bellied Cuckoo-shrike
2    Flame Robin
2    Diamond Firetail
Numerous Southern Whiteface
1    Olive-backed Oriole

Common Bronzewings were very common.  There are no Acacia with seed at the moment in Back Yamma but the Bronzewings seem to be always on the ground so maybe they feed on seed shed earlier in the year.
