Hi John and others
Sorry for responding so late. I spotted a Grey Goshawk in white morph at the
southern end of the Lady Carrington Dr., near the turnoff to Palona Cave, on
the 23 March 2001. Bright white.
Cheers,
Elisabeth Larsen

Many thanks to all those who responded to my message, both provately and
on the list, concerning the phase of Grey Goshawks seen at the RNP.
It seems that most people see more grey-phase birds, particularly at the
Waterfall end, than white ones. However, from about two years ago up to
about nine months ago (last seen!) there was definitely at least one
snow-white bird hanging around the southern end of Lady Carrington
drive.
Cheers,
John M. Clifton-Everest
