Hi David,
When I saw the Whitei race of Striated Grasswren in the Chichester- Millstream
National Park inland from Karratha in WA it was making a churring noise most
unlike the BOCA tape of the Striated and calls (admittedly limited). It
responded to a squeaking noise that I made (along with Variegated Wrens and
very yellow Weebills). This race may well (my prediction only) be split in the
future.
