Dear list-members,

I volunteered to organise a long weekend (next October) in the Swan Hill
district of northern Victoria for the local (Bellarine Peninsula)
birdwatchers.

I don't know the area at all, and would be very grateful for any
suggestions of good areas to go birding and recommendations for cheap
accommodation for about 10 people.  Accommodation could be a
self-contained cottage or bunk-house style camping.
