Hello All,

World scoop!!

Click on the address below to see the first ever published picture of the three
oystercatcher species that can be seen in Australia, together at the same roost
at the same time.

The birds were on the rock-wall near the Pelican Park boat-ramp at Clontarf,
Queensland, Australia on the 9th of May, 2001.

Ok. So it's not super-quality.
It was taken from digital video and is the best I could manage at the time.
At least, having the video camera with me did mean I was able to actually get
the shot.
It would have been a lot harder using conventional film camera gear.
