Hi All:
I want to apologize to the group for transmitting messages to the list with
a virus attached. My mistake was a dumb one: I opened an attachment against
my normal rule because it contained a message that I had previously sent to
the list. I have a Norton anti-virus system which apparently hadn't
received the update for Badtrans (discovered by Symantec Apr 11?). I
cleared my system Monday morning (Iowa, USA, time) and apparently have had
no further problem. Thanks for the excellent help from Russell Woodford and
others who gave me the info I needed to clear my system.
Birding-Aus is a great list and keeps me plugged in to down-under thoughts,
fun for me as I'm a Kiwi.
And Jenny: I won't take it personally that you weren't tempted to open the
attachment entitled "me nude"!!!
