Hello All, Just a quick update on the Oystercatchers at Woody Point and nearby areas...... I haven't been able to find the South Island Pied Oystercatcher (SIPO) at any of its 'usual' locations few a few days now. But, I did see a Sooty Oystercatcher at Redcliffe Point, just south of the Redcliffe Jetty on Thursday, 19/4/2001. This is a known spot for Wandering Tattler and I believe this is where Andrew Stafford saw the SIPO on 16/4/2001. So it is a good place to keep an eye on. Plenty of Pied Oystercatchers around the Redcliffe Peninsula.
