Vicki, About 30 years ago well known Aviculturalist Marcus Lindenberg picked up a dead Noisy Pitta near his aviary in 'suburban' Pittsworth on the Darling Downs Qld. This bird would have been 40 to 50 k as the Pitta flies from the nearest 'usual' habitat on the Dividing Range or about 70 k from the Bunya Mts.
