Port Phillip Bay sighting

    Marlene, could your mystery birds be Arctic Jaegers? It is about the only bird which has such a mixture of plumages and it does occur in Port Phillip Bay. When sitting on the sea, Jaegers tails are more inclined whereas shearwater tails are more horizontal.
