It must be Oriental Cuckoo season. Last Saturday I saw at least three
birds, including one hepatic form, in remnant brigalow/softwood scrub on
a property west of Injune (25oS 148oE).

month I've recorded ORIENTAL CUCKOOS at eight sites within 100 km radius
from Atherton. Places include Petford, Herberton, Kaban, Mareeba
and around Atherton. Only one bird was the hepatic form.
