Hi Robert

I have been involved with a number of instances in Brisbane where Torresian Crows have been attacking people, some of them causing injuries. Some of them are definitely more aggressive during the breeding season. One had caused a number of injuries to elderly people and had persisted with its attacks over a period of time.  I tried to catch it to relocate it, but it was too smart.
We are not sure why crows attack people but it probably for similar reasons that Australian Magpies, Pied and Grey Butcherbirds, Magpie Larks and Noisy Miners also attack.

More study is needed.
