Sorry just read the full email and I would have to say that I do agree with David also and say that I do think that ship assisted birds should be allowed as long as there is no evidence that they have been fed etc on board. I also fell that a record should be "innocent until proven guilty". How did the non-migratory/sendentary/affraid of water finches get to the Galapagos?? flotsam assistance must have occurred either on a large enough scale or on several occasions for colonisation to occur. Similar to either 1 big or lots of small ships - natural occurrance - accept all of 'em I say....
