Two wetland surveys were conducted north of Adelaide on 25/02 by 30 members
of the SAOA.
1) Penrice Saltfields: Weather was warm , clear, and with a light breeze.
The survey began at 14.00 well before high tide which was predicted for

The species count was a little low for Penrice, being only 66, the Phalarope

is now dry again as a result of continued upstream water use by market

species listed below a Ruff (Reeve) was called but disappeared before being
confirmed.
