Sorry this isn't bird news but there might be some interested readers
out there! At dusk tonight I spotted a small mammal on a tree on next
door's acreage....got the bins and spot-light on and saw a fantastic
Brush-tailed Phascogale (Phascogale tapoatafa)
A fortnight ago Duncan Walbridge saw a Masked Owl (Tyto novahollandiae)
(we still haven't got that one yet!) and last month had a Squirrel
Glider (Petaurus norfolcensis)......can only be a matter of time before
the Red Goshawk!
