Menotti, Don't know whether you've solved your ID problem yet but it looks like a first winter Larus delawarensis RING-BILLED GULL. I've seen this species a number of times on the south west coast of England + in the US - Your photos would seem to indicate that this would be a good candidate and certainly more likely than a Kelp Gull? Simon. |
