Subject: RFI - Swamp Harriers at L. Connewarre (Vic.)
A request for advice on accessing the Lake Connewarre Reserve se of Geelong.
A friend requires a photo of a Swamp Harrier and we thought Lake Connewarre a
good site. I haven't been to this locality for many years and am interested in
list members advice on the best points to access the area for photo purposes.
Am also interested in any advice on other localities worth a visit on the way
down to Geelong (we don't have any permit for the Western Treatment Plant).
I need this information today as we are travelling down tomorrow (9 Feb.). Your
own thoughts on other sites close to Melbourne also welcome. Any advice direct
to me please.
Thanks in anticipation.
