G'day All,

Are the wader deaths caused by the leading edge wires
stretched between the projectiles? or the net itself?
or the method of capture and handling?

We are obviously all of us here on this list extremely
caring of birds and there welfare, so IF? there is a
problem nowadays with this practice? how could the
problem be eradicated or the process/practice be
improved?

Is there truly a need? to continue to net them?

John A. Gamblin

No News yet on the SEX of the Phillip Island "Colombo
Crow" or of this bird finding a mate? and building a
nest? and talking the same lingo? and eating the right
diet? and raising it's young successfuly eh?
