G'day All,
Just a quick note (change from all that serious stuff!) Marie and I saw one ( or possibly two) Oriental Cuckoos at the end of Postman's Track (near water-board gate) Samsonvale, SE Qld this evening at about  4pm. Two sightings about a kilometre apart.
No problem with the ID but this one seems to have a buff vent (a plumage detail that I've seen on this species here in previous years) Unfortunately I've never seen a photograph showing this before.....any ideas?
