Alan,
I saw 2+
Chestnut-breasted Mannikins in the grounds of the Barraba Caravan Park on the
Manilla Rv. just north of the town. This was in the last days of August last
year. They were feeding on the ground in company with Yellow-rumped
Thornbills,Zebra and Double-barred Finches. I seem to recall they weren't on
either Bob Richardson's(the park owner) list, or on the Bird Routes list kept by
Russ Watts.
