Hi Mike,

White-throated Swifts have been sighted over the Gold Coast QLD each day from the 20th Jan.   On the 20th and 21st 100+ were seen each morning around 7.00 am by fellow birders in the Currumbin area.   From 22nd - 24th there were parties of around 20 - 30 at the same place and time of day.   Yesterday, Thursday on our local bird outing we saw 50+ over the northern end of the coast at Coombabah.   We were in the area from 7.00 am to ll.00am and saw them continually from about 8.00 am onwards.   Today  around 30+ were around the house around 9.30am   the weather has been fine and hot for most of the week with light winds.   None of the flocks were seen to move off in any particular direction.
