fishpond, and have tried to nest in our huge oak-tree, surely the most
ancient and venerable European oak in the area, having been planted by

Hi Birders,A friend of mine living for the last six months at Croydon,
an inner Western Suburb of Sydney has recently found a pair of

in Sydney and there were no Blackbirds in the inner west then as I
recall. Can anyone say whether it is unusal to see then at Croydon, or
have they finally started to settle in the inner west? Alan
