I just checked my records and found that I've seen European
Blackbirds on my last two trips to good old Magic Point Maroubra - on
8 January 2000 and 11 january 2001. I know I should be able to
remember where I saw them, but I can't. I think it was near the
former dead-cert spot for Lewin's Rail (which I never managed, there
or elsewhere). Perhaps the blackbirds will enjoy the new earthworks
at this spot more than the rails did????
