Thank you Wim, for your fascinating account of European Tits (Titmouses?
Titmice?).

had read only three paragraphs when I printed it out to insert in my
Dictionary of Birds.

May you be inspired to favour 'birding-aus' with dissertations on other
interesting bird groups.
