One of our Illawarra Bird Observers Club members saw this bird eating Small Leaf Fig Tree figs at his home, about 90 km south of Sydney, over the last 2 days. Morris, McGill and Holmes quote "Also recorded near Sydney in 1886". Yes Alan this "Handlist of the Birds of NSW" is still a key reference.
