Annoy is too strong a word for the telephone imitations of our garden
pair of Spiny-cheeked Honeyeaters but the very loud calling of a
recently-arrived pair of Spotted Turtle Doves is definitely annoying, at
dawn. Their being ferals just adds insult to injury!
Then there's Millie.....
Millie is this year's household Magpie, rescued as a fallen nestling.
It's version of our phone ringing is just about perfect, but we forgive
it almost anything!
