Hello Sewage Pond fans, I too can recommend Mt Isa and Alice Springs sewage works and also in WA, the Derby Sewage works. On a recent visit the actual ponds were just had terns and Plumed Whistling Ducks but the overflow area behind has an area of reeds with ponds and finally a marshy expanse spreading out on the flood plain. In about half an hour we recorded about 30 species including Yellow Chat and Long-toed Stint.
