G'day Birdos, while on the topic of wonderful places to go birding, especially STW, how about Gum Swamp, part of the Forbes STW, always a good spot for Freckled Duck. I haven't visited the area for about ten years but I assume it's still there. Wagga STW is also good in dry years at least. Does anyone know of an STW that isn't worth visiting. By the way, I've always found sewage ponds far more productive than sewerage ponds (sorry Alan) Graham Turner. Lower Blue Mtns Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
