Our itinerary precluded a special bird watching cruise so we booked the "Best of Lake Argyle" cruise departing at 12 noon on 15/10, duration 6 hours. Aroha and Scotty Hewitt were very helpful, Scotty was our skipper and guide, and assured us that he was confident he could show us our two target birds, Yellow Chats and White-quilled Rock-Pigeons even though we were not on a special bird watching cruise. We had close views of both species, along with many other birds, marsupials, fish and reptiles. Scotty is very professional, and the whole cruise is interesting and enjoyable, concluding with wine, snacks and an incredible Kimberley sunset. .
