Koels were calling at Hazelbrook on 1/10.
Cicadabird at Hartley Vale (west of Blue Mountains) on 7/10.
A mixed flock of masked and white-browed woodswallows were hawking at Hazelbrook on 8/10.  They flew off towards the east so it may be a good woodswallow year around Castlereagh.
I don't envy you people with your blackbirds and brush turkeys.  I like my lyrebirds. They might dig up the garden but they do sing while they are doing it.
