You're a hard man, Tim.  "A Field Guide to the Birds of Japan" published by the 
Wild Bird Society of Japan includes (illustration and text) the "Australian 
Bee-eater" Merops ornatus on the basis of one sighting at Miyako Island.  Well, 
why not?  It's a beautiful bird, too!!
