Hi all,
Amazing how things can change from one day to the next. Yesterday there
were ( as previously reported) just a few odd waders and the Banded
Stilts at Penrice Saltfields. Today suddenly there were hundreds of Curlew
Sandpipers, thousands of Red-necked Stints, some with full chest bands,
some Red-capped Plovers, increased numbers of Sharpies, and amongst a lot
of Whiskered Terns we ( John Cox, Colin Rogers, Enid Pascoe and myself)
confirmed one Arctic Tern - a tad scruffy, but no doubt that's what it is.
Directions anyone?
Tony.
