G'day all

A pair of Little Ravens has recently raised two or three chicks in a neighbour's
tree. Within two days of the chicks leaving the nest the adults were collecting
twigs for a new nest in the next tree. I hope this indicates a long wet spring.
September is looking good with 85% of the average monthly rainfall in the first
11 days.

All four common cuckoos in this part of the world have arrived (Shining and
Horsefields Bronze-cuckoo, Fan-tailed and Pallid). My ears are tuned in for
Koels and Brush Cuckoos which have visited us before.

Cheers

Steve
