Thanks for all those who answered my request. I will try to push the envelope even further. The subject is birding as I only need a GPS for the Atlas. I have examined the GPS and it is a Garmin. The problem is that it is a GPS38. That means it is similar to the GPS12 but with only 8 channels. The auction is at 6pm tonight so any comments to me directly ASAP.
