Hi all, I haven't been following the white-winged fairy-wren thread closely, but I don't think I've seen anybody yet refer to a paper I stumbled upon last night, published by Garry Mayo in Australian Bird Watcher vol. 15 part 7 (1994) pages 321-322. This paper refers to the close observation of a black-and-white White-winged Fairy-wren at Fowlers Gap Arid Zone Research Station, north of Broken Hill, NSW. I hope this is of interest to those following this thread. My apologies if anybody else has already posted this reference.
