BAYBOCA (the Bayside Branch of the Bird Observers Club of Australia) had an outing last Saturday (26 August) to a member's property at Nagambie, next to the Graytown State Forest and Mount Black Flora and Fauna Reserve. In the total of 57 species for the day, we recorded five species of cuckoo: Pallid, Fan-tailed, Shining Bronze, Horsfield's Bronze and Black-eared, all on the property. In addition, we recorded Swift Parrot, Hooded Robin, Southern Whiteface, White-browed Babbler, Crested Bellbird and a single male Turquoise Parrot. A minor highlight was the absence of any feral birds. Tania Ireton.
