The Shoveller was seen at 5.30 pm Tues 22nd by Tom Smith, David Andrew and myself - very visible from the cattle yards which sport a tin efficy of a bull with "Kalangadoo" written on it.GPS : 29 26 23 153 05 00 (see Paul Walbridge's message for distances from Grafton).

It had been absent from the swamp all day and came in at the same time as a flock of R. Spoonbills and several Black necked Storks.  The lagoon is very long and runs all the way to the Clarence River.  No sign of the Pintail anywhere.
