Gooday all,I returned from my morning walk along the Town Beach at Bowen, North Qld. this morning with a grin from ear to ear. A Peregrine Falcon had been chased from a large conifer in Thomas St by Figbirds. The PF then flew leisurely with short wingbeats along the foreshore in an easterly direction towards Mother Beddick (a Bowen landmark). Just the thrill and exhilaration of watching this majestic master of the skies was enough to "make my day" as Clint would say.
