G'day All, For those interested in migration of East Asian ducks, (including Northern Pintail) there is an interesting new site on the subject on the Asian Wetland Inventory . See Atlas of Key Sites for Anatidae in the East Asian Flyway http://www.jawgp.org/anet/aaa1999/aaaendx.htm Hope this helps those studying the origins of the recent Northern Shoveler and Pintail.
