A Peregrine Falcon hovered outside my window - 11/8 Nicholson Street on
Monday am. Didn't see any meals caught though. Great to hear of one less
'Avian Toad' to worry about.
cheers

So I just get back to work from our 7 week holiday thinking "well that's
the last birding experiences for a little while". In the office, Monday
approx. 9.00 a.m., 12th floor, Flinders St, Melbourne, talking on the phone
and looking out the window at ...
Peregrine Falcon flying past at eye level about 30 metres from the window
with prey in talons (looked like a Common Myna) and another Common Myna
sort of pursuing half heartedly.
Just goes to show that the birds don't know that this is not a birding
site!!! Needless to say, the person on the other end of the phone didn't
get much of a conversation for a while.
